So, you want to know a little more about the two guys that started this thing called Reveal?
Alright…if we must: We’ve both been at this business for a while; James since 1991, and Jim
since, well, let’s just say he’s approaching the quarter-century mark.
|
 |
James has a product and industrial design degree, and worked mostly on the production side of the industry,
holding positions in detailing, project management, estimating and operations management. That’s not to say
he hasn’t been on the sales side before: he sold models and prototypes in Chicago. With his design training,
he has been able to approach situations and solve problems differently. It is his understanding of the balance
between sales and production that gives him a unique perspective on this industry and what makes a successful
exhibit and event marketing company.
Jim, on the other hand, comes from the client side, with a sales and marketing perspective. He worked for two
Fortune 100 companies as corporate trade show manager before becoming marketing director, sales VP and GM on the
exhibit house side. Somewhere in there he also sold to major clients. Coming with him from the client side is a
perspective of what clients strategic needs are for their trade show programs and what it takes for an exhibit
and event marketing firm to help the client achieve their marketing objectives.
So, you put these two guys with different backgrounds in the same industry together, and you get a pretty good mix.
But really, it’s the folks in the previous section—our people—that have made this a great place to do business.
